Things to do in Tenerife

Tenerife is just one of these many islands, with golden sandy beaches and so much to discover, we’ve put together a list of some of the fantastic things you can do whilst on holiday in Tenerife!



Siam Park

Of course, it would only be fair to add Siam Park to the top of our list, with it being the world’s BEST waterpark. This has to be one of the most exciting things to do when on holiday in Tenerife. Whether you’re holidaying as a family, couples or a group of friends, there’s no doubt that you won’t have an amazing time at Siam Park. This Thai-themed waterpark is everything and more, with a great selection of waterslides and rides. Plunge down a 60ft drop into a chute through sharks and rays, before flying out into the catch pool! 

 

 

Mount Teide National Park

Home to some of the dreamiest volcanic backdrops, visit the Mount Teide National Park, a World Heritage Site where you can discover volcanoes and the highest mountain peak in Spain at 3718m above the sea level. Are you a solar lover? Take in the world’s largest solar observatory, with an ideal location to observe the sun or night sky. 

 

 

Head to the beautiful beaches

With an array of gorgeous golden sand and blue watered beaches, sometimes the best thing you can do on holiday just simply relax… Tenerife boasts over 400km of coastline, Playa de las Terestias is one of the beautiful beaches in Santa Cruz, popular among locals and holidaymakers seeking relaxation. For those looking for something a little quiet, there are a number of secluded beaches away from the main tourist resorts.

 

 

Whale and dolphin watching

Looking for an experience of a lifetime? Take a tour off the coast of South West Tenerife and watch the whales and dolphins in their natural environment. Discover a variety of dolphins and whales you’ve never seen before. You’ll even spot some turtles, sharks and lots of other beautiful sea creatures! Discover the Masca village

Take a trip to the most picturesque village, known as the Masca village. Rich in history and beauty, this village definitely won’t disappoint. Experience the spectacular views and even indulge in delicious food at the restaurant overlooking the valley. Masca is one of the highest villages on Tenerife and the perfect photo opportunity, full of amazing viewpoints. Don’t forget your walking shoes!
