Sunmaster Employees Charity Run

On the 20th of May 2012 two of our website developers will be pulling their heads out of the digital clouds and pounding the pavement in the Great Manchester Run. In a race not only to raise funds for two worthwhile causes, but puts developers pride on the line and valuable bragging rights in the office.
Who will win out the two of them is a relative unknown, who would your money be on? Runner Information:

Martin:
In 2011 Martin ran four 10km runs, including Jane Tomlinson’s York 10km run and Bupa’s Great Yorkshire 10km Run. With an average time of 43 minutes and more recently accomplished the Wakefield Hospice 10km run in an astonishing 42.58 minutes.

Martin will be running the Great Manchester Run for Joseph Salmon Trust (Charity No: 1123322)

Robert:
In the other corner we have Robert who has no prior experience in any official 10km running events, so a relative unknown contender. However, weighting in as little as 10 stone 7 pounds Robert could be as some describe at Sunmaster as the “Whippet” to beat the lean-mean running machine that is Martin.

Robert will be running for Help for Heroes (Charity No: 1120920) and has already raised over £120.00 for the charity.

We’ll be sure to post the race results here on our Blog and everyone at Sunmaster wishes them both well in the race.
