A few weeks ago we had the chance to visit one of our fantastic hotels in Corfu and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The luxurious adults-only 5* ultra-all-inclusive Kairaba Mythos Palace in Boukari was the most incredible and comfortable stay, with a relaxed atmosphere and a stunning sunset view of the coast.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who provided us with information about the hotel, while refreshing drinks from the Rea lobby bar were made for us as we waited to be shown to our rooms. The mosaic interiors and ornaments alongside the traditional Greek decor really took us back in time. The hotel had a luxury feel with a bright and relaxing atmosphere.
Our rooms at the Kairaba Mythos Palace were incredibly spacious, comfortable and even had their very OWN plunge pool! The Superior Double rooms are located on the ground floor and feature a double bed and sofa, alongside a walk-in shower and doors opening up to the fantastic plunge pool. We were greeted with a full cheeseboard, with a selection of exotic fruits as well as traditional Greek desserts including some delicious baklava (which I finished in one night). We were also provided with a bottle of white wine, as well as a card with the WiFi password. As I explored the hotel room, there was a mini fridge filled with soft drinks, water and even beer. The room was equipped with a TV, air-conditioning, a safety deposit box, and all the necessary bathroom amenities. My favourite feature of the room was the large mirrors – perfect for those selfies!
Breakfast at the Kairaba Mythos Palace was delicious and served at the main Zoe Restaurant, with a variety of local and international options to choose from, served in a buffet-style. The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the pool. Guests were required to wear masks and disposable gloves when handling food due to the ongoing pandemic. For breakfast, I opted for a sweet selection and went for the croissants, pancakes and delicious cakes! The restaurant also served English breakfast options.
The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner at different times throughout the day and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Dinner options were different every day at the Kairaba Mythos Palace, from traditional Greek dishes to Italian and more. Whether you were in the mood for seafood or pizza – there was something for everyone.
As we explored the hotel we entered the spa room, which had a large indoor pool and a variety of treatments on offer including a sauna. The spa centre consisted of beautiful Greek decor with mosaic tiling and a relaxed and calming atmosphere. There was also an on-site gym with machines for those looking to remain active on holiday.
The Kairaba Mythos Palace hotel is located on a beachfront with an outdoor pool, sunbeds and parasols, as well as a pool bar. You can expect to experience some beautiful sunsets by the pool – we certainly did.
On the last day of our visit we were treated to a fine-dining experience at the Ouranos rooftop fine dining restaurant, which was absolutely exquisite. From the service to the mouth-watering meals and surreal views of the coast – this restaurant is definitely worth experiencing while staying at the Kairaba Mythos Palace Hotel. The restaurant and rooftop bar has a set menu with delicious seafood options, alongside indoor and outdoor seating. We were given a traditional Greek meze to try, the Taramasalata, a pink seafood meze made from fish roe – so tasty! For starters, I opted for the grilled Octopus which was grilled to perfection, for the main dish I chose the sweet salmon noodles served with a pineapple sauce and lastly, we opted for a chocolate souffle for dessert. All of the food served at the restaurant was delectable! We were also accompanied with some live entertainment, including performances at the rooftop bar.
Our overall experience at the Kairaba Mythos Palace was excellent, the hotel was exactly as described and definitely lived up to its luxury description, from the friendly service to the comfortable rooms.
